Confused? Sum it up in 5 minutes.

What am I confused about? I am confused about what I want to be in the future. I am confused about what people expect of me. I am confused about how I am supposed to act in given situations. I am confused about learning, both the topics I study and the process of maintaining information in my brain. I am confused about How to go about my day. I want to be awesome and respected, but I am now confessing I don’t have enough strength to stick to anything long enough to become proficient at it. Enough with the self relection, why not talk about anthropology: The study of cultures and the cultural use of the world. Geographically we learn about the spread of people in the past and in the current world. We learn about the intermixing of cultures due to globalization in geography class, and this could be connected as to why people want to learn about individual cultures now, because we have lost so much of our diversity. In promoting multiculturalism we promote globalization. Traditions and customs (bows/handshakes, burkas, jewelry, religious holidays, the ‘standard’ calendar) are amalgamated together now as the western (American) culture is taking over. This is because many modern corporations wish to be associated with the United States due to their economy being so powerful.
I am confused about how I can make myself what I am supposed to be. I am confused about how I can worry in a way that isn’t pathetic. I am confused about why we are all here. I really want to know why God started this game of “Sims”. Are we better than the infinite expanse of the universe? Is he God to other planets? There is that possibility, though, because he created the universe the other inhabited planets must acknowledge his presence somehow. What stage of evolution are other creatures on other planets? What species are they? Are there any other humans out there? Do our laws of physics only apply to this world? How much knowledge is there discovered about life on other planets? How much do we even know about other planets? I think it would be great if we could know more about the universe. I suppose other people do too. Until then, though we can begin to understand our own planet’s history, present and future.
